SYNOPSIS
Petros is a bank employee. He works in the arrears and complications department, which used to be called seizures and auctions. There he meets Galini, a bank customer.
Petros is charmed by Galini, but recognises that the prospects for any relationship between them other than a professional one are rather slim – the bank soon intends to foreclose on Galini's house. Therefore, Petros continues to live in his routine, which includes arguments with customers, buying high-tech gadgets and casual sex with Mrs Nikolaou, his boss at the bank. Until Live Better, a self-help and self-improvement company, informs him that he fits the profile of the person they are looking for to present their half-hour television show of the same name. They invite him to attend a selection process, along with about ten other candidates. Among them is Galini...
Live Better is a black comedy about Greece during the economic crisis and psychological decline. It speaks of people losing the ground from beneath their feet and others feeling the sky falling in on them; people who, nonetheless, continue to survive and seek some kind of light at the end of the tunnel.
